In order to make a bequest, we encourage you to speak with your attorney or financial advisory who can assist you in making a bequest to Meals on Wheels Plus, Inc. in your estate plan. Below is some basic bequest language to assist you in this process.

Bequest of a Specific Dollar Amount
I hereby give, devise, and bequeath (insert dollar amount) to Meals on Wheels Plus, Inc., a nonprofit organization located at 717 N 10th St., Abilene, TX 79601, Federal Tax ID # 51-0148188 or its successor organization.
Bequest of Specific Personal Property
I hereby give, devise and bequeath (insert description of property) to Meals on Wheels Plus, Inc., a nonprofit organization located at 717 N 10th St., Abilene, TX 79601, Federal Tax ID # 51-0148188 or its successor organization.
Percentage Bequest
I hereby give, devise and bequeath (insert percent) of my total estate, determined as of the date of my death, to Meals on Wheels Plus, Inc., a nonprofit organization located at 717 N 10th St., Abilene, TX 79601, Federal Tax ID #51-0148188 or its successor organization.
Residuary Bequest

Contingent Bequest
"In the event (insert the primary beneficiary/beneficiaries) does/do not survive me, I give said amount to Meals on Wheels Plus, Inc., a nonprofit organization located at 717 N 10th St., Abilene, TX 79601, Federal Tax ID # 51-0148188 or its successor organization.
Designations
To any of the suggested bequests, the following can be added to ensure the gift is directed specifically according to the wishes of the donor.
Unrestricted Gift: “This bequest is unrestricted and may be used for the highest priority need(s).”
Restricted: “This bequest is to be used for the purposes(s) set forth in a separate written agreement(s) between me and Meals on Wheels Plus, Inc., as may be amended from time to time.”
If you have named Meals on Wheels Plus, Inc. in your will or trust, please let us know so we can ensure that your gift is used according to your wishes. Notifying us of your plans will enable us to plan for the use of your future gift. However, if you prefer to remain anonymous, we will keep your name and gift in strict confidence.
